What did you miss (or not) this week!
Today we start a brand now weekly top news section , where we are going to select the top news about marketing and beyond of the week. Worldwide and locally.
Here’s some highlights:
1. Named the Realme 10 Pro Coca Cola Edition, it is basically a Realme 10 Pro with a Coca Cola theme attached on its back, packaging, and basic software skin. The package and presentation is top notch, particularly for fans of the iconic soda brand.

2. French fashion brand Louis Vuitton has named Grammy-winning producer, rapper, singer and songwriter Pharrell Williams as its new menswear creative director.

3. Rihanna’s catalog of songs surged 140% in official U.S. on-demand streams after her Super Bowl LVII halftime performance (Feb. 12), according to initial reports to data tracking firm Luminate (which provides data for Billboard’s charts).

4. Next month, at their Stream On event in Los Angeles, Spotify executives will announce the latest features and upgrades coming to the audio platform. Among other things, Spotify will have at least one major launch that was built with an eye toward improving discovery and attracting a younger demographic: a vertically swiped homepage.

5. Bacardi rum has seen the largest growth in Instagram followers from 2022 - 2023 according to new research from YesMore. In its latest report, YesMore drinks marketing agency noted a 75% increase in Bacardi Instagram followers between January 1 2022 and January 1 2023. Captain Morgan followed closely behind with a 63% increase, while Veuve Clicquot came in third with a 62% rise in Instagram followers.
